What’s New?

Availability Flap Reporting Enhancement Breaking Change

As part of our ongoing improvements to alert reliability and historical insights, the following change has been introduced in the way Availability Flap data is recorded and reported:

  • New Report Category Introduced: A new report category named “Availability Flap Summary” has been added. This report provides more granular and accurate tracking of availability status that persist over time.
  • Impact on Existing Report: The existing “Availability Status” report will continue to display flap records generated before upgrading to version 8.0.21.
  • Post-Upgrade Behaviour: After upgrading to v8.0.21, all newly detected availability flaps will be logged under the new “Availability Flap Summary” report category. The system will no longer log new flaps in the old report section.
  • Action Required: Users relying on availability flap report data must review their usage of the “Availability Status” report and update to accommodate the new “Availability Flap Summary” category post-upgrade.
