Release Date: March 12, 2025

What’s New?

Introducing Rule-Based Tagging

Motadata AIOps now features rule-based tagging, automating the assignment and removal of tags across various categories of provisioned devices. Users can apply static, key-value pairs, and dynamic tags. Moreover, users can also define metric counter-based conditions for precise tagging.

Introducing Two-Factor Authentication

Motadata AIOps now incorporates Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via an authenticator app or email-based authentication to provide an additional layer of security for user accounts. This enhancement significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access by requiring a secondary verification step during login.

Introducing Event Policy Support in Alert Stream Widget

Motadata AIOps brings the capability to create Alert Stream Widget for Event Policies (Log, Flow, and Trap). Users will be able to set respective event severity filter and view the recent triggered policy on the Dashboard in real-time.

Enhanced OOTB Forecast Reports

With this release, OOTB Forecasts Reports are further enriched by providing forecast reports for Hypervisors like ESXi, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and Citrix Xen and their respective VMs.

Execute Instance-level Runbook from Monitor Template

With this release, the ‘Execute Runbook’ section of the Monitor Template will display all the associated instance-level Runbooks as well. Users can simply select the instance using a pop-up menu to execute the Runbook.

Introducing Widget Drill-down for Compliance

Users can now view a list of rules by clicking on “Overall Rule Assessment Result” and “Overall Failure by Severity” widgets on the Compliance dashboard. This will significantly help in identifying the compliance gaps without requiring the need to switch screens.

Support of Custom Plugin for Linux One

Users will now be able to fetch key metrics like CPU, Memory, and Disk using a custom SSH plugin for Linux One OS.

Enhanced Flow Explorer

Users will be able to customize the columns being displayed on Flow Explorer. Columns can be simply added or removed by selecting or deselecting their individual checkbox respectively.

Improved NCM Role Permissions

With improved NCM role permissions, users with read-only access to NCM will not be able to access NCM settings. Additionally, the Dashboard access level will also be read-only. This will further bolster security by preventing unauthorized changes to settings and widgets.

Compliance’s Trend Widget Displays Last 7 Days’ Data

Users can now view the last 7 days’ Compliance trend data on the Compliance dashboard. Trends can significantly help in identifying the average compliance of the organization over a period of time.

Improved LDAP Server Settings

Users will now be able to add a secondary LDAP IP address when configuring an LDAP server, which will help in case the authentication fails with the Primary server. There will be appropriate audit logs available when Motadata AIOps is unable to connect with Primary server.

Improved SSH Client Connection Handling for NCM Devices

With this release, Motadata AIOps brings the utility of handling the SSH connections of NCM devices that require a pre-password prompt.

Stack Tab Visible for Extreme Switches

With this release, Stack Tab details will be visible on Monitor Template for Extreme Stack Switches.

Improved User Interface

With this release, Motadata AIOps brings changes to font size for Widget titles and Column headers. This will result in better readability for users, improving the user experience.
